Here’s the new image for this years NL Folk Festival t-shirt.  The original art is a hand coloured lino-cut

 created by Caroline Clarke.  We’ll be printing these on a variety of  t-shirt styles. And - if any one would like to

pre-order a sweatshirt we can accommodate requests up until August 1st.  Hooded pullover sweatshirts

will be $35.00 tax included.  E-mail us your request.  See you at the festival - August 6 to 8 in Bannerman

We sold all of the rest of the “While Supplies Last” t-shirts we had posted in our on-line store. That category

is now empty. We’ll probably add a few more to this category at the end of the summer.  Stay tuned.

By the way…if you think it’s odd that we’re only talking about the crazy $5 t-shirt sale after the fact let me assure you there are no ulterior motives here.  We weren’t trying to exclude people by keeping it a secret ( We  had Patrick do a flyer run downtown).  We were simply without web tech assistance for a while and we didn’t know how to update our website.  Thanks to Mark Bennett the secrets have now been revealed to me and I can at least type messages here.

So stay tuned - we’ve got the Lantern Festival this weekend (shirts by us) and the Folk Festival starting  August 6th (also shirts by us). We’ll have a booth at the Folk Fest and will be featuring a few new shirt designs. Perhaps I’ll post them here in the next day or two if I can figure out how to paste (post?) a graphic onto this page.

Living Planet is hosting a monthly Printers Market – a venue for print artists to display and sell their works. This event will be held at our print studio at 20 Barnes Road. In addition to vendors at tables, we will also be hosting a guest screen printer at each market.

Our goal is to provide a meeting place and vending opportunity for emerging printers and creators in print related media. Additionally we want to offer support and training to screen printers through our guest screen printer program.

The second market is being held on Saturday May 8th from 12 noon until 4 pm.
